The odd one - Jesse Hyttinen

Updated: Apr 21, 2021

Hi and welcome to the Matladpi blog! In this post I will tell you about a specific creature in the world of treespeak.

The one that inhabits the dark caves, old attics and abandoned houses, gives the creeps to anyone. Not aware of the warnings people have told about the place, you enter with some loot in your mind, and start to search for anything valuable. Then, you enter one room...

With darkness slowly increasing, your eyes adapt quite well, and you walk further, with a false sense of security. Then, something strikes! While still alive from the wounds, you try to take a grasp of the situation. What is this? A creature? A trap? Or both...

With the darkness taking a toll on you, you quickly reach for your flash light. You point it towards your surroundings, but find nothing, absolutely nothing. Then, something hits you again: this time the cut hit deep. With pain getting worse, you desperately start to fight back with the double knives you are so adept with.

But the resistance seems futile. With your last bits of strength, you run outside the house and feel confident the creature may not stand natural light. But there it is, a blurred object almost invisible.

You feel again severe pain. I... feel hot? Sunburn? What is this? I am going to... ! You faint from the pain, wake up after an unknown amount of time, and are told: You know what hit you? It was a camouflaga: a night crawler. And a light bender. Whatever you do when you encounter them, never give them a source of light... they may twist your fate.

Njäf! said.

I am Jesse Sakari Hyttinen and I will see you in the next post!
